Watch, like, share and subscribe! ;)

It's taking quite some time as we have a few things going on behind the scenes - good things! We're even more optimistic!

We interrupt the free VST flow to let you know some good news... The good news is that Magix Music Maker 2016 and Music Maker 2016 Live are on the way!

Live: Magix have attempted a few times to add live performance functions to its digital audio workstations (DAW) and computer DJ oriented software with mixed (no pun intended) results. I think Magix may have cracked it at last! Review coming soon...

It's funny but then again it is not... Just the other day someone taking her first steps in computer music asked for some advice on easy to use digital audio workstations. I told her not to do anything until the release of Magix Music Maker 2016 Premium... Around this time year Magix releases a new version of its brilliant easy to use entry level / prosumer digital audio workstations: Music Maker and the Premium version.

Above: The Magix USB keyboard controller. It looks great!

Music Maker 2016 is now available in Germany (the country of origin) and Magix appears to have done away with the 'Premium' version in favor of the new 'Live' version. The 'Live' version can be controlled via a tablet through Wi-Fi and there are options for a special Magix USB keyboard controller. Whoohoo! Ableton Live has now got some serious competition!

Above: The remote controller on tablet but can be controlled on a handset too. It looks like it's going to be for Android users (for the time being - a Windows version could follow).

Both the standard and 'Live' version is VST compatible. There are new synths in the form of the Cinematic synth that provides heavy depressive sounds and the Accordion. The effects and Mastering Suite looks like they have gotten a significant overhaul. Apparently it will be even easier to obtain the perfect master! If it is anything like the Audio & Music Lab 2016 (reviewed in the current broadcast) then it will be simply amazing!

ELECTROCHEMY TV will bring you a full review as soon as possible!
